Kioxia USA declared that it will sample its 1TB UFS 3.1 embedded flash memory. The product utilizes a 1.1 mm thick package and is currently the thinnest 1TB UFS product.
The product utilizes Kioxia’s BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory that can achieve a sequential read speed of up to 2050MB/s and a sequential write speed of up to 1200 MB/s.
Kioxia declared that mobile devices are constantly evolving, and 5G networks will give unprecedented speed, scale, and complexity. To obtain the 5G connectivity advantages, namely faster downloads and decreased latency, high-performance and low-power flash memory are required.
Additionally, in the 5G era, people’s storage demand for smartphones is also growing rapidly. Kioxia’s 1TB UFS 3.1 flash memory brings ultra-high-speed read and write performance and low power consumption.
