AMD Threadripper PRO processors are launched, supports RDIMM and LRDIMM memory

AMD officially started retailing its Ryzen Threadripper PRO processor. Previously, Lenovo was the only company that offered Threadripper PRO on the Thinkstation P620 platform.

AMD said that the Ryzen Threadripper PRO processor gives workstation users an unparalleled feature set, up to 64 cores, 8-channel memory, supports RDIMM and LRDIMM memory, has 128 PCIe 4.0 channels, and supports AMD PRO security technology.

The 64-core Threadripper PRO processor is US$5,490 (about 35,000 yuan), 32-core is US$2750 (about 18,000 yuan), and 16-core is US$1150 (about 7400 yuan).
