Intel Xe-HPG game graphics specifications leaked, will cover the entry-level to mid-range and fever game market

Intel’s self-developed discrete graphics cards are divided into DG1 and DG2. According to foreign media do gaming, the detailed specification of Intel Gaming’s Xe-HPG DG2 was leaked on Twitter, and the tipster declared the specification information of 6 models.

The entry model of the new graphics card only contains 96 EUs, 768 computing units, and the video memory bit width is only 64bit. For comparison, Nvidia GTX 1050Ti also has 768 SP units, and the video memory specification is 4GB, 128bit.

The flagship model of the DG2 graphics card has 512EU, 4096 computing units, the video memory bit width is increased to 256bit, and the video memory is available in two versions of 8GB/16GB .

Intel announced the news of its first game Xe-HPG DG2 as early as October 2020. The official said that the graphics card will cover the entry-level to mid-range/fever game market.

In addition, Intel also stated that it has already tested the DG2 display card in the laboratory. The DG2 series graphics cards are not the follow-up version of DG1 but utilize a brand-new architecture with stronger performance.

Xe-HPG is aimed at game enthusiasts and will support the latest graphics card’s optical tracking and other functions. Intel released the Iris Xe desktop standalone display codenamed DG1 in early 2021. The products are not for retail sale and are currently only launched for small and medium enterprises.

The DG1 graphics card has 80 EUs (640 stream processors) with 4GB LPDDR4X video memory, 128bit wide. According to the test information, the GPU frequency is 1650MHz and the TDP is only 30W.
