Microsoft releases Office insider preview version13806.20000, brings a number of new features for Word and Outlook, and bug fixes

Microsoft today released an internal preview version of 13806.20000 for Office. Users who subscribe to the Beta channel can get the new updates. This preview version gives the latest features for Word and Outlook and also provides functional repairs for Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.

Word, Outlook

  • The dictation function supports more languages, including Hindi, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, Korean, Thai, and Hokkien.

Outlook

  • The search function in the software is faster and will provide more relevant suggestions when adding recipients.

Excel

  • Fixed the program crash when the user opened the data type card. The bug originated from the inability to retrieve an image.

PowerPoint

  • Fixed the issue of looping animations and bookmarks with sound numbers.

Word

  • Fixed the problem of automatic saving.
  • Fixed the conflict problem when editing documents cooperatively.

Project

  • Fixed the software crash when users enable JWAS and task information dialog.
  • Fixed an issue that could fall back to 99% when the task is 100% completed.
