Tesla has now opened the optional EAP (Enhanced Automated Assisted Driving) function in China at a cost of 32,000 yuan ($4,943.08 US). Compared by BAP basic assisted driving.
It adds four functions, including:
- Auto-assisted navigation driving: automatically entering and exiting highway ramps or overpass forks, overtaking slow vehicles.
- Automatically assisted lane change: Automatically assist lane change on highways.
- Automatic parking: parallel parking and vertical parking.
- Smart call: In a suitable scenario, the vehicle parked in the parking space will respond to your call, drive out of the parking space and go to your location.
Tesla had launched this feature for a limited time on September 20-30 last year, and it officially released today.
