In December 2020, Xiaomi released MIUI 12.5, the latest version of MIUI at the Mi 11 conference. It comes with many new features and optimizations to enhance the overall user experience.
Now, Xiaomi is rolling out a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version number 21.2.2. The new Beta update brings new features and optimizations to provide a better experience.
According to the change log, it added a new card background blur effect to Smart Assistant. This update also adds smart charging to the system.
The new function will understand your charging and usage habits to extend battery life. For example, at night, you need to charge the device for a longer period of time. You can view the change log for this update below.

Starting from April 24, 2021, Redmi Note7, Redmi Note7 Pro, Mi CC9e will stop the development version internal beta test.
