As per the news, Lexus will declare the completely adjusted ‘brand vision’ this year and release a new model later this year. The concept car images of this new model have been declared.
Lexus announced in a statement on February 1st: ‘This spring, we will launch our new brand vision and new concept cars, explaining our plans for the future and marking the beginning of the next generation of Lexus.
Additionally, we will release this year. The first model under the new vision, and will continue to launch new models next year and beyond.’
From the concept car pictures released by Lexus, you can roughly see the outline of the body part, and the surface of the body is very textured. In the shadows, one can only roughly guess that the leaked part is the rear of the car.
Unlike the previous oval logo, the logo of this car is the LEXUS brand name. The new car looks full of low lying feeling, showing a sporty style. Other details and configuration information, Lexus official has not yet disclosed.
Lexus declared this news when it also announced that global sales in 2020 will fall 6% year-on-year to 718,715 vehicles due to the epidemic hitting global demand. Specifically, Lexus vehicle deliveries fell 16% year-on-year in the first half of the year and rose 2% year-on-year in the second half.
