Xiaomi officially released the latest version of its custom skin MIUI 12.5 on December 28. This latest version contains a set of new features, functions, optimizations, sounds, wallpapers, animations, etc.
As we all know, this version is currently only available in China. But now, the company has set its global release date to February 8. Xiaomi’s Global MIUI ROM has officially confirmed this information through a Facebook post.
The MIUI 12.5 global launch event will be streamed on the social media account. This means that the global launch of Xiaomi Mi 11 may take place on the same date.
With the release of MIUI 12.5, more users can enjoy features such as new visual changes, privacy, and MIUI+. After canceling MIUI’s global Beta plan in July 2019, we can expect Xiaomi to release a timetable before releasing stable updates.
If available, Chinese smartphones such as Mi 9, Mi 10 series, Redmi K20/K30 series, and Redmi Note 7/9 series will be the best in the support list. For Global, we can expect more equipment targeting specific regions to enter the market.
