Nissan Motor announced, will stop supplying fuel vehicles to major markets in 2030

According to the news, Nissan Motor Company announced that it intends to stop the production of gasoline and diesel vehicles by 2030. At that time, Nissan will supply electric vehicles to major markets.

As per the report, Nissan plans to gradually stop supplying gasoline and diesel vehicles to the Japanese, Chinese, American and European markets by 2030. On the other side, Nissan plans to continue to develop innovative battery products and develop its own hybrid e-POWER technology to improve energy efficiency.

Masato Uchida, CEO of Nissan Motor, responded: We are determined to help build a carbon-neutral society and contribute to the fight against global climate change.

Additionally, the policy of the Japanese authorities is to stop the sale of new cars including gasoline engines by the mid-1930s and has formulated a ‘green growth strategy that will gradually stop the sale of gasoline and diesel cars in Japan.
