Ford’s pure electric SUV Mustang Mach-E announced produced in China

Today, Ford China officially declared the Mustang Mach-E China production plan. This pioneer pure electric SUV based on Ford’s world’s first high-performance pure electric platform will be manufactured in Changan Ford.

The new generation of Ford Co-Pilot360 smart driving assistance system and SYNC + smart driving infotainment system will be released on the Chinese Mustang Mach-E, supporting L2 + level of automatic driving assistance functions, allowing car owners to achieve ‘quasi-automatic’ on specific highways ‘Driving State’, this is also the first model in the Ford China product camp to carry this function.

Additionally, the Chinese Mustang Mach-E also supports FOTA software online upgrade. Through the online software upgrade of the core modules such as vehicle control, the Chinese Mustang Mach-E can continuously introduce new functions in automatic assisted driving, etc., and continue to bring users a new experience.

The Chinese Mustang Mach-E will also be furnished with a Ford vehicle-road collaboration system based on cellular vehicle networking (C-V2X) technology. Ford is also the first Chinese vehicle company to achieve mass production and application of C-V2X technology.

This technology will help drivers predict risks, improve driving safety and traffic efficiency, and become an important part of urban smart transportation and completely automated driving in the future.

The Chinese Mustang Mach-E model has a body size of 4739mm*1881mm*1621mm, a wheelbase of 2984mm, and a cruising range of over 600 kilometers. As a high-end mid-size SUV based on Ford’s world’s first high-performance pure electric platform, MustangMach-E is tuned by a racing simulator used by Ford’s global performance car team.

Ford introduced the GT high-performance version of the model together and landed production in China. The GT version will adopt a front and rear dual-motor layout and enter the ‘3-second club.’
