Linux Kernel officially released version 5.10.10, contains 43 patches

Linux Kernel officially published version 5.10.10. This update contains 43 patches, mainly for some bug fixes to improve stability.

The update log is as follows:

    • Add driver for Cadence SPI controller
    • Fixed an issue where the client driver was damaged when using GPIO descriptors
    • Fix the issue of tid stuck due to incorrect update of qid
    • When the DSA master unbinds, unbind all switches from the tree
    • Check if the ATF in __ieee80211_schedule_txq has been disabled
    • Allow the use of a non-continuous dsi clock
    • Fix wrong NULL pointer check
    • Use __napi_schedule() for PREEMPT_RT
    • Fixed the handling of unsupported token types in rxrpc_read()
    • Fix clk error handling
    • Fix Caprio plan configuration
    • Fix potential NULL pointer dereference
    • In some cases, READ_ONCE() should be used to read the call status
    • Avoid unnecessary kmap_atomic calls
    • Set appropriate input size for OID_GEN_PHYSICAL_MEDIUM request
    • Remove Asym_Pause support
    • Increase the critical threshold of ASIC hot zone
    • Fix NULL dereference in tipc_link_xmit()
    • Validate GSO SKB before completing IPv6 processing
    • Fix MSI / MSI-x interrupt

Linux will add support for Nvidia RTX 30 series graphics cards in version 5.11. On January 25, the test version was updated to 5.11-rc5. Although it supports RTX 30 series graphics cards, it does not support advanced functions such as 3D acceleration and light tracking. The stable version of Linux 5.11 will be launched in February this year.
