Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8A users in Russia and globally. This update comes with a set of new features and optimization features to provide a better user experience.
MIUI 12 update comes with new animations, enhanced privacy, new dynamic visual effects, new shortcuts to open the control center and notification shadows, and improve system security by installing the latest Android patch released in January 2021.
It also optimizes full-screen gestures, system animations in selected scenes, control center layout, and dark mode. This update also resolves an issue where notification shadows cannot be displayed correctly in “dark” mode.
