Microsoft Edge 87 stable version starts label and history synchronization function, only several users can enable it

Microsoft’s new version of Edge browser with Chromium kernel is currently the official version of 87.0.664.75. As early as October 2020, Microsoft provided the ‘History’ and ‘Open Tabs’ synchronization functions to Edge browser Canary test users.

Currently, several users have seen these two functions in the latest official version. To enable this feature, you can enter the browser settings and tab ‘Personal Information’ → ‘Sync’ to see these two options.

Since the Edge browser supports multiple devices like Windows, MacBook, Android, etc., this feature can further facilitate users to work across platforms.

The browsers are both at version 87.0.664.75, some users cannot enable these two synchronization functions and the buttons are gray. The setting shows that this feature will be released soon, and it can be turned on quickly when ready.

It can be seen that the function of synchronizing history records and opening tabs is a grayscale update, and Microsoft will randomly choose users to enable this function. Nevertheless, these two features are not far from the full release time.
