ASUS announced a new mechanical keyboard ROG Claymore II at CES 2021, designed for gamers

ASUS announced a new mechanical keyboard called ROG Claymore II at CES 2021, designed for gamers, including customizable macro keys and full-key RGB backlighting. This is also the first keyboard with ASUS’ own ROG RX blue or red optical keys, which claims to have a life span of 100 million keystrokes.

This keyboard also has a dedicated numeric keypad, which can be detached and connected by magnetic force. The numeric keyboard also provides more intuitive media control functions, such as the volume dial.

ROG Claymore II can be connected via a USB-C cable or wirelessly via 2.4GHz. If you use it wirelessly, the built-in 4000mAh battery should last 40 hours.

ASUS stated that the USB-C interface supports fast charging and USB pass-through for other devices. This keyboard will be on sale in the second quarter of 2021, ASUS has not announced the price yet.

ASUS also announced its new ROG Gladius III wireless gaming mouse, which looks similar to Razer DeathAdder V2. The sensor supports up to 19000 DPI and can be connected by wire or wirelessly via 2.4GHz or Bluetooth. ASUS said that a purely wired version of this mouse will be launched at some point.

It is worth mentioning that ROG Gladius III allows users to change the switch, so you can find the right feel according to your needs, and even allows you to change between the three-pin mechanical switch and the five-pin Omron optical switch.
