Biostar teaser Intel Z500 series motherboards with Mini-ITX specifications

Biostar’s official Twitter account released a teaser announcing the VALKYRIE Z500 series motherboard.

The wings in the promo are the logo of the new series of motherboards. Valkyrie (Valkyrie) comes from Norse mythology, is one of the twelve maids of Odin, responsible for selecting the dead and bringing them to the Valhalla Hall.

Biostar has officially announced two motherboards using Intel 500 series chipsets, including Z590 Valkyrie and Z590I Valkyrie that will support Rocket Lake-S series CPUs and use LGA1200 interfaces.

Among them, the Z590I Valkyrie motherboard will adopt Mini-ITX specifications. Including the release of Intel’s 11th-generation desktop processors, a new generation of ITX small steel guns will be unveiled soon.

The biggest feature of the new Z590 motherboard is that it supports the PCIe 4.0 interface, which has greatly improved bandwidth compared to PCIe 3.0.

The i9, i7, and i5 versions of Intel’s 11th generation CPUs will support PCIe 4.0, while Pentium and Celeron CPUs of the 11th generation i3 and below will not provide PCIe 4.0 support.
