Apple AirTags will be released soon, a 3D animation that may be used to track device

Recently, the news broke on YouTube Jon Prosser released an animation, which is said to be how Apple’s AirTags tracker is paired. AirTags is probably one of the most anticipated Apple accessory products. This small product seems to have been rumored for a long time and has not been released.

When a certain version of iOS 13 was updated last year, someone even found the AirTag icon in it. After that, this monitoring tracker was widely discussed. Many analysts believe that it is a coin-sized pendant that can be hung on a key chain or school bag to remind users of the location of important items.

Jon Prosser said that he obtained the animation from a software engineer, and the animation may appear in a future iOS version. Apple made similar 3D animations for several other accessories during the iPhone or iPad pairing process, including various HomePod and AirPods.

Like the previous exposure data, the appearance of AirTag is a circular disc-shaped object with polished silver metal on the back.

In fact, there are many similar products on the market before, but most of them are connected to the mobile phone via Bluetooth. Once the effective range of Bluetooth is exceeded, the user will be notified on the mobile phone. Apple’s product is said to have its own U1 ultra-wideband chip built-in, which is directional. And it will be combined with the “Find” tool that comes with the iOS system.

Since the iPhone 11 series and AR technology support ultra-wideband, AirTags can theoretically provide high precision, direct users to find an item, and may even be able to accurately locate in the room.

The exact release date is still pending. Apple usually holds its first event in March of each year, but since it is still in the epidemic period, there may not be offline activities, so it is not impossible to update the official website.

We are not sure when Apple will launch AirTags, but it may not be far away. Previously, well-known analyst Mig Chi Kuo said that Apple plans to launch this product in 2021.
