Epic client hotfix has been released to improve the problem of high CPU usage

VideoCardz reported that the Epic Games client seems to make some AMD Ryzen processors run hotter. Later, Epic Games admitted that this was indeed a bug and promised to fix it.

Now, Sergey Galyonkin, Epic’s Director of Distribution Strategy, said that the hotfix patch 11.0.2 has been released. This is not a complete solution, but it can improve the problem.

Some online users recently stated on the forum that this application continues to use CPU resources, even when it is running in the background.

As per the release in the test that running the Epic Games client will increase the temperature of the R9 5950X by 20 degrees Celsius. At this time, no games are running.

Now, after Sergey Galyonkin posted a tweet, some online users left a message saying that the CPU usage has dropped to 0.3%.
