Vivo Y20 2021 launched with MediaTek SoC, side fingerprint scanner, and more

Vivo officially released a new low-end smartphone named Vivo Y20 2021. The smartphone comes with a side fingerprint scanner and is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. This smartphone is very much similar to the previous generation device despite its processor and the rear camera setup.

The MediaTek Helio P35 processor on the Vivo Y20 2021 version adopts an 8-core design with a large core frequency of 2.3GHz and Xiaohe 1.8GHz. It does not support the latest WiFi 6 and 5G mobile networks.

The phone comes with 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, three rear cameras, and the main camera is 13 million pixels. What is more surprising is that this phone still uses a Micro USD port interface instead of Type-C. In addition, this phone has a battery capacity of 5000mAh, but only supports 10W charging.

Vivo’s mobile phone is downgraded a lot compared to the 2020 version. The current version of the Y20 mobile phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, a 64-megapixel rear camera, and an AMOLED waterdrop screen.

Coming to the price, the Vivo Y20 2021 has been sold in Malaysia at a price of approximately RMB 983 ($150).
