Indian short video app Josh gets investment of more than $100 USD from MNCs like Google and Microsoft

Verse Innovation, the parent company of Indian short video app Josh, announced on Tuesday that it has completed a round of financing, raising more than US$100 million from investors including Google and Microsoft.

The company said that the global asset management company Falcon Edge Capital and existing investors Sofina Group and Lupa Systems participated in this round of financing, adding that the funds will be used to expand Josh’s business.

Google also announced a capital injection in VerSe on Tuesday, adding that it also invested in mobile advertising technology company InMobi, but did not provide any financial details of these investments.
