The National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center has recently passed the ‘Net-Net 2020’ special operation internet monitoring found, which a number of travel mobile apps had privacy violations, violated the relevant provisions of the Cyber Security Law, and were suspected of collecting personal privacy information beyond the scope.
Among these illegal mobile apps, one is that when the App is first to run, it does not prompt the user to read the privacy policy and other collection and use rules through a pop-up window or select to agree to the privacy policy by default and other non-explicit methods to ask for user consent, involving:

- Flower Traveling ( Version 3.0.7)
- Let’s Go-Travel Planning (version 4.1.5)
- Ant Short Rental (version 7.2.4)
- Quick Ticket Travel (version 3.3.3)
- Spring and Autumn Travel” (version 8.0.2).
- The third category is that the purpose, method, and scope of the collection and use of personal information are not listed one by one that is suspected of privacy violations. The 4 apps involved are as follows:
- Go and See Travel” (version 2.1.1)
- Green” (version 5.28.4)
- Tuniu Travel” (version 10.36.0)
- Like Mother Travel” (version 8.6.20).
- The fourth category is a failure to provide effective correction, deletion of personal information, and cancellation of user account functions, or unreasonable conditions for cancellation of user account settings, suspected of privacy violations. The 2 apps involved are as follows:
- CYTS Traveling Travel” (version 5.9.7)
- Flower Traveling” (version 3.0.7).
- The fifth category is the failure to establish and publish personal information security complaints and reporting channels, or fail to accept and process within the promised time limit, suspected of privacy violations. The 7 apps involved are as follows:
- Traveling with Me (version 4.6.0)
- CYTS Traveling and Traveling (version 5.9.7)
- Nest Friends Self-driving” (version 9.1.1)
- Guide Cat Traveling” (version 3.7.9)
- Hornet’s Nest” “Travel” (version 10.3.3)
- Let’s Go-Travel Planning” (version 4.1.5)
- Quick Ticket Travel” (version 3.3.3)
The National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center reminds smartphone users to be cautious in installing and using the above illegal and illegal mobile applications to avoid unnecessary security threats to the mobile operating system.
It is recommended to turn on the ‘real-time monitoring function of the anti-virus mobile application in the mobile phone to actively defend the operation of the mobile phone and monitor the intrusion activities of unknown viruses as soon as possible.
